What if just combine the important the most important aesthetics of the NS1 and NS2? Combine it into single game, and we will have NS1 + NS2 = NS3! Copy all the weapons (not sure about lmg/rifle....), pistol definitely, HMG definitelty, SG with the animation....
Then move them and marine movement to NS2, same with aliens. This way it's almost like a new game. :)

It could be exciting,it would definitely change the meta ;D But do we keep alien comm and cysts?!?
