Also, +1 for izo - why unban people after a season? They're just gonna come back and do the same shit again, no matter how much they excuse for what they've done. Never miss a chance to take some jabs or attempt to hijack a thread. Regardless of your analysis of how the players of our community might fare in other games (which is pretty irrelevant), many of the posters in that viewmodel thread have proven themselves as some of the best players and minds in NS2... while you have not. A few of them even used by UWE and me to figure out balance in the vanilla game and Comp Mod. Even Fana, who many regard as one of the elite minds ever to be a part of this game said it really didn't matter. In fact, the majority of posters disagree with you. So how do I weigh public opinion when making decisions? Seems like the sensible thing is to give weight to the thoughts of the people who have proven themselves over time, while distilling and incorporating the opinions of everyone else, even when the opinions are contrary.

I've given you much latitude to be kind and respectful while sharing your thoughts on these forums and the UWE one. Your posts simply haven't garnered any traction within the community. Deal with it. That said, enjoy your timeout.

I'm glad to see that you are making progress. but its a shame you still havn't answered my one question.

Just to clear something up. Everyone on Gnarculepsy found out about this at the same time everyone else did. Trademark stated there are others in the NS2 community using these chams. I tried to get information out of him and got some clues to the person.

He said it was a NA player.
He has never been on a team with him.
He isn't a Div 1 player.
He is better than a div 3 player.
He played on a team last season.

The only team from NA that was division 2 was The Leftovers.
Obviously this doesn't point to a person, or it could all be lied about. I have no idea.

Gnarculepsy had no involvement with this. I'm trying to figure out who this guy is as well. Cheating is never acceptable. Whether on a pub/pug/scrim, cheating should always be a perm ban from NSL.

As a competitive NS2 player I value skill with strategy to a high degree. I believe having the game knowledge to pre-fire around corners is a skill acquired over time and with much experience. Having a wallhack tell you when to prefire and when not to is absolutely degrading to anyone who wants to improve their own abilities within this game.

To sum this up.

I have no idea who this guy is who gave trademark this hack.

The last thing he most likely wants to deal with is shit from other people, he knows what he did wrong and realizes that's it for him, so you guys attack him? Hacking is fucked up and i abhor hackers but is it really necessary to rip on a dude that just wants to say sorry and bye? Some of you really need something better to do with your lives.

Doesn't really sound like he's sorry at all since he's letting this bs continue by not exposing the other cheaters he knows.

As much as id want to know who it/they are like everyone, nothing is making him tell us who it is, it's his choice. He should tell us but not everyone does the right thing all the time. You can't force someone to tell you something they don't want to right or wrong. And if he wasn't sorry, why would he waste his time with the crap people are giving him? He will never be able to play competitive ns2 again so what would be the point? If he does decide to tell the rest of the community, great, less hackers, if he doesn't? Well the person will get caught eventually or stop playing at some point. If the dude is just being attacked by everyone for saying sorry and goodbye why would he ever even bother to tell us, everyone just treated him like shit for a choice he made, not everyone has the balls to admit they hacked and then talk about it knowing their gonna get ripped on, i say just leave the man alone.
