Read over it really quickly, It's a pretty good read and most of it still applies as you said. will probably read it more next week when I have more time.

Very thorough and very nice guide to put a standart to any players knowledge. Only thing I feel is lacking for this marine guide, is sound scouting, and using your ears, rather than your sight.

Well it's a strategy guide, not a tactical guide. For that ask herakles or shu, they love to teach players in that regard ;)
In fact, i remember herakles did put up smth on the UWE forums in the old days...but cba to search for it :D
*edit: on a quick check, the sound scouting is mentioned in 2.2.1.1 :P
